Todays update: I've worked a little more on the Saxophone portrait. I added the legs, but I've got some proportion problems that need sorting out! the torso has got a little too long and the legs need fixing (I think this is because I added them on today, rather than working them into the original line drawing). I'm going to try next time, but I really want to get a painting going on this one too. The photo shows the studio setup. The nude sketch was a 3 hour study and the still life drawing shows the process I am following, line, tone, edges and then accents.
