Here's a a hand study I did this afternoon. I was pleased with this as its heading towards the way I want to paint. I used a lot more paint and quite a bit of oil which helped.....this glass study was less successful, the thumbnail was ok, but the larger painting didn't work as well. Its also a bit wonky....its amazing, I'm could have sworn when I painted it the top was straight, I think I need to step back a bit more and really watch out for stuff like that. Finally a study of an oyster.
